The Yasaka Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in the Gion District of Kyoto, Japan. The shrine is dedicated to Susanoo-no-mikoto, the god of sea and storms, and has a history dating back over 1350 years. The shrine is also known as Gion Shrine and is famous for its annual Gion Matsuri festival held in July.

The Yasaka Shrine is open to the public every day of the year from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. Admission is free. However, some areas of the shrine may require an additional fee for access.

In the surrounding area, visitors can explore the Gion District, known for its traditional architecture and geisha culture. The district is also home to several restaurants and shops. Both temples are open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and admission fees apply.
